Suicide Prevention/Intervention Training for Education (NAMI NH) [May 2019]

School personnel are well positioned to notice changes in youth behaviors, attitudes, academic performance and social interactions which may signal symptoms of depression, substance abuse and other suicide risk factors. A unique community-based intervention, Connect increases the competence of school communities to promote suicide prevention, recognize individuals at risk and respond to individuals who are thinking about or who have attempted suicide. This training includes National Best Practice protocols, interactive case scenarios, discussion, exercises, PowerPoint, and printed materials.
