School phones, when being used to place calls to 911, should be able to display accurate address and location information, down to the floor and room level, for the phone that is being used to make the call.
A school’s telephone service provider, in conjunction with their Multi Line Telephone System (MLTS) vendor, should be able to provide a Private Switch Automatic Location Identification (PS-ALI) account that can send this information through with any call that is made to 911.
